HOUSE OF THE YEAR 2020
This special house, with stunning views, has just won the Master Builders Supreme House of the Year award for NZ. Rangi Kahu (sky filled with hawks) gives magical time out to three couples or six friends (the King beds can split to six King singles or your combo) wanting a retreat 15 minutes drive from Wanaka or Cromwell.
The house and studio design are a tribute to Kahu (hawks) that ride the thermal waves. Eight can stay by booking the studio on a separate AirBnB listing.

1 RYALLS WAY
This well-appointed 3-bedroom home, sits beautifully on a spacious and established corner site in Lake Hawea and this charming home is ready for its new owners.
The open plan kitchen/dining and living room flow seamlessly outdoors to the entertainment area and perfectly landscaped and sun-drenched gardens. The 1034 sqm section is slightly elevated to take in the surrounding mountain views over Mt Maud and the Grandview Ranges.
Ten years ago when we created our first holiday home our vision was to establish a range of places that could easily cater for couples, families or groups of friends but, most importantly that are pet friendly, so that everyone can come and enjoy a holiday in Wanaka.
Our houses range from a 1 bedroom cottage to a 4 bedroom town house and the rooms can be made as kings or twins so we have the flexibility to meet everyone’s needs.
The Wanaka Community House Charitable Trust has been working on getting a facility built for many years. A Community House is a centre for local services and organisations to use at an affordable price.
These facilities are proved to strengthen relationships between service providers and promote positive social wellbeing for the whole community. We are raising funds for building an energy efficient building so that ongoing running costs will be kept low for tenants.

SOUTH ISLAND'S FIRST
We're really excited to be building the South Island's first hempcrete house. Hempcrete is a construction method using Hemp and Lime. The two components are mixed together with sand and water to create a dry mix that is then poured in situ into formwork to create a 300mm think wall. It's an insulation and cladding system in one, which results in no plastic in the walls, they're 100% natural.
