SNOW FARM 2018
Ski across the rolling and beautiful Mt Pisa range on New Zealand's best cross country tracks at Snowfarm. This annual event is a must do on any cross country skier’s bucket list. And it's also New Zealand's WorldLoppet race.
The X-Country ski trails roam across the lower part of the Pisa range. Many follow old farm and mustering trails while others were formed to exploit the topography and shaped to for snow retention. The advanced trail design and quality grooming makes the most of the snowfall.

THREE PARKS, 2019
WHEELS AT WANAKA
Wheels at Wanaka is a biennial event, held at our founding partner’s property Three Parks, Wanaka. The event alternates every odd Easter weekend with Warbirds Over Wanaka International airshow. A charitable trust, funds will be raised for in 2021.
Wheels at Wanaka is a history in motion show including a Vintage Fair: steam, traction & stationary engines, tractors & farming heritage, cars, motorcycles and trucks - vintage, classics and exotics, earthmovers and heavy machinery. Buzzing with energy, Wheels at Wanaka is huge! There's nothing like it in Australasia.
WANAKA A&P SHOW
The Upper Clutha A & P Society was formed in 1933 with the first show being held in 1934.
The A & P Show has always been held on the current grounds in the centre of Wanaka, with the only time it was suspended was during the war years of 1942-1945. After 81 years the show structure changed from a President to a five member Board. The section Committees are still very active ensuring that the A & P aspect is kept strong.
Over the years the Show has seen continued growth to the full two day programme of events we see today.
AUTUMN ART SCHOOL
The school is based at the modern Mt Aspiring College campus with practical classes exploring the district. We look forward to a stimulating week in the stunning autumn environs of Wanaka – an opportunity for learning and exchanging ideas and techniques as well as meeting a variety of people with diverse interests. We’re delighted to offer you an exciting programme with highly talented tutors from New Zealand and Australia. Some are new to us, others are returning from previous years.
PLASTIC FREE WANAKA
Our mission is to reduce single use plastics in our community and across New Zealand
Through fun events and education, we show people the harm done by single use plastics and make it easy and affordable to choose reusable options. We advocate for national action and collaboration to reduce single use plastics used in New Zealand
This means that collectively, our town works together to eliminate our instinct to grab for a drink, meal, coffee or product that is sold in something we immediately throw away after consuming.
