Guide

SSD Recycling

 

1. Ensure the target drive is empty or backed up to 4TB SSD using Mac.

2. Connect the target drive to Sigma FP and select menu > system > memory media format > USB storage.

3. Select 'Yes' to confirm formatting of the target drive. This will take 1-2 minutes.

4. Shoot or begin shooting the next project onto the target drive.

5. Upon connecting the target drive to Mac, launch Disk Utility from the menu bar, select the nameless hard

   drive, right click and rename it to the relevant PKT number, confirm, then click 'unmount' and then 'mount'.

6. The target drive should now appear in finder, ready for connecting the footage to DaVinci Resolve.

Live Streaming

 

1. Prep the live streaming camera on a tripod with HDMI running into the Blackmagic Display.

2. Place MacBook and Blackmagic Display on top of the shelf, next to tripod.

3. Run USB-C from the Blackmagic Display into the MacBook, and power the display from the 16000mAh battery.

4. Connect the live streaming camera to a power source and switch all units on.

5. Launch OBS and Safari (YouTube) on the MacBook.

6. Open the pre-organised live stream session and paste the stream code into OBS streaming preferences.

7. Connect the Tascam DR100 III to a Lav mic on the groom or to an audio guy's line out. Press record on the Tascam.

8. Connect the Sennheiser XSW-D TX to the line out of the Tascam.

9. Connect the Sennheiser XSW-D RX to the camera and run audio into its mic input port. Switch all audio gear on.

10. Check the video signal and audio signal is coming through to the MacBook in OBS, and click 'start streaming.'

11. Wait for the proper moment to begin the live stream and hit record on the camera and click 'start recording' in OBS as backup.
